According to the Met Department, several regions across the country should expect significant rainfall. These include the Central Highlands (Nairobi and surrounding areas), the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, the Coast, and parts of Western Kenya. Residents in these areas are advised to carry umbrellas and plan for possible travel disruptions.
Meanwhile, the Highlands in both eastern and western Kenya, parts of the Southeastern Lowlands, and the Rift Valley will experience cold and cloudy conditions. Night temperatures are expected to drop below 10°C in the Central Highlands, the Central Rift, and around Mt. Kilimanjaro so warm clothing is recommended, especially for early morning commuters.
