She added, “This collaboration will help us move closer to realizing the BETA plan, empowering communities and enhancing our overall economic prospects as a nation.”

“Today marks a significant milestone with the commissioning of the newly refurbished Maasai Mara Research Centre, which is poised to become a premier hub for wildlife research and training,” he remarked.

The Wildlife Research and Training Institute underscored this achievement as a testament to its dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and training in Kenya.

“The Maasai Mara Research Centre exemplifies the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife's unwavering commitment to preserving our unique wildlife heritage for future generations,” the Institute stated.

The Maasai Mara Research Centre has long been a leader in wildlife research, contributing valuable insights to the management of wildlife in the Mara and parts of Western Kenya.
